As a party of 10 we found Sul Pech perfect. It had everything that you could possibly need, even down to a welcome basket. The whole property was very clean. The garden had lots to offer, swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis all of which we used. The scenery was stunning, especially the Chateau Cenevieres when lit up at night. The local Bistrot Belles Vues with views over the river is worth a visit, the staff were very friendly. Lots to do in the local area, we had a great stay.

What a perfect 2 weeks we have just enjoyed at your wonderful property - a really comfortable home from home. We could never tire of the stunning views from the dining areas looking out across the gardens and valley beyond to the picturesque Chateau Cenevieres with no other house in sight. Your house, facilities and location were everything and also more than we could have imagined and worked so well for our 3 generations. Perfectly secluded for our grandchildren (and young at heart adults) to make as much noise as they wanted yet close enough to Cajac for all our shopping needs. The house layout was perfect to allow plenty of animated games nights downstairs whilst us elder folk could have some peace and quiet upstairs. More than enough space for all 10 of us to be together or seperately in small groups, We have spent many holidays in various country houses in France but never before come across one so well equipped to cater for all eating, drinking and BBQ requirements plus books, games and TV if needed. The whole pool area was thoroughly utilised day and night and we are all now pool volley ball experts!! Cycling from the house was superb - gently around the River Lot as a group or for me as a keen cyclist up the hills and utilising the numerous off road tracks suggested by Google Maps took me to some breathtaking scenery and small villages. We found plenty of time for table tennis, tennis and cricket but thankfully left a huge amount of local history still to explore for our next visit.

We will long remember the sweeping entrance to this lovely house with the pool stretching out in front and the tennis court discreetly below, together with the spectacular view beyond. And what a view! A beautiful valley with hilltop villages, the river and the fabulous Chateau Cenevieres in the distance. We had a wonderful time exploring this stunning part of the Lot, with very few other tourists. The house is large and spacious and sufficiently flexible to cater for the needs of our three-generational family group. It is really well equipped and does feel like a home. Chloe, our housekeeper, was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. A wonderful two week family holiday and we would highly recommend this beautiful house in the Lot.

Staying at Sul Pech was a dream come true, from the moment we got there to the moment we left. The accommodation looks even more impressive in person to the pictures - if that’s possible! There was more than enough space for us all, with two kitchens and two lounges we could stretch right out! Not to mention the extensive garden with it’s own pool and tennis court. With two gorgeous little towns, which have weekly local markets, restaurants and lakeside bars, situated only 10 minutes’ drive from the house, there was plenty to do for all ages. When at the house, everything had been thought of, from needing a fan, to a hair dryer, coffee machine, pool inflatables/balls and various BBQ facilities, everything we needed was already there and very high spec. The personal touches extend further to even include incredible paintings throughout the house which we were impressed to learn were illustrated by the owner. During our stay I was able to totally unwind, which was owed to the awe inspiring landscapes as far as the eye can see. My family have made everlasting and unforgettable, magical memories when staying at Sul Pech and we will certainly intend to return as soon as we can. I couldn’t speak more highly of our time there and would recommend it to friends and family.

We all agreed we would like to return to Sul Pech! We absolutely loved the house and the wonderful facilities - the pool, tennis, and table tennis. We also appreciated the amount of space in the house and garden, ideal for a party of 9 as we were! It was great to have so much space and bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness. We have stayed in a good number of rented holiday houses as a family group in France and Italy and we have never seen a house with so many glasses! As we say in Ireland you must have had great craic altogether! Not only glasses, but lots of crockery and cutlery. Everyone found something to enjoy at Sul Pech. We relaxed around the pool and on the verandas. We had a great table tennis tournament which involved everyone. Great also to have the televisions with the UK channels, and the books. The bikes are a considerable asset to the house - they were used a lot! The Belles Vues bistro up the road was so good especially that we could walk to it. Everyone was so friendly there and we spent many a happy hour with a drink admiring the view. You get the idea - we loved the surroundings and being at Sul Pech!

Good morning from Calvignac. The Lot valley hiding in mist, church bells tolling, blissfully cool before the heat of the day, and silence. Having the time of our lives and bottling memories like crazy. We laid by the pool counting shooting stars last night. J was up to eight within 20 minutes. Every third word out of our mouths is "Wow!" Totally understand why a piece of your hearts stays in this place. Feels like good medicine.

Sul Pech is in a beautiful location that is perfect for a relaxing holiday. We found it to be a very comfortable and well-equipped home, the rooms are well furnished, the beds are comfortable, and we loved the different seating areas and dining spaces - there was plenty of space for everyone. We used the pool daily which is very well maintained. We made use of the tennis court and table tennis and enjoyed the games from the game's cupboard. The kids appreciated the fantastic WiFi connection and the TV's! The owners Caroline and Ian had thought of everything to offer us a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We would definitely return with the family.

We are hard pressed to find any recommendations as you seem to have thought of everything… the quality cotton linen and soft furnishings and new artwork are super. Our crew were really impressed with the high-quality table tennis table - we did a ‘mini- Olympics’ on our final evening - lots of fun. We have some beautiful photos of the house under sapphire skies looking perfect…. we’d like to visit again next year and would like to secure the booking now. We felt very blessed by a beautiful week of glorious sunshine, missing it already! Thanks again for creating a beautiful haven and for the lovely card and treats.

Our four weeks have passed far too quickly. We’ve had a really enjoyable holiday at Sul Pech : the property is well equipped and comfortable and beautifully situated with peaceful views over the Lot valley. Ian and Caroline kindly provided everything we asked for in respect of visiting grandchildren whilst we cannot speak too highly of Chloe, the House Manager. Sul Pech is a house with personality, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. It welcomes you with open arms and immediately you are at peace, and home. The luxury of the comfortable beds and piles of the softest, fluffiest towels are complimented with great showers and cozy sofas. For those who love to cook, you’ll feel right at home in the well stocked kitchens, or at the equally well-equipped barbeque. With such stunning views from both outdoor dining areas, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better setting for an intimate dinner as the sun goes down. The owners have thought of everything, from a stacked games cupboard and table tennis, to mountain bikes for the more adventurous. A short stroll (or pedal!) brings you up to the charming village of Calvignac for an aperitif, or down to the beautiful Lot River for a quick dip, perhaps. On leaving the comfort of the house, there is immediately a wealth of gorgeous villages, markets, chateaux and history to explore on your doorstep. We arrived in July to wide blue skies and temperatures of 40 degrees. How wonderful to return from exploring the beauty of the Lot valley to relax into the pool, to float on one of the many inflatables and gaze across the stunning valley at the chateau, letting your mind drift as freely as the hawks gliding above! On mid-summer nights, lying by the pool watching shooting stars from the Perseids meteor shower streak across the ink-black sky will be a truly unforgettable experience. The area is so quiet, to wake to silence, only broken by the gentle tolling of church bells is a joy, and perfect for some mindful reflection. Each window frames a picture-perfect view, and you will find your time at Sul Pech stays with you long after you’ve returned home.

We would highly recommend a visit to Sul Pech. We have just returned from a fantastic week there (mid August). The villa itself is really well appointed and is very nicely furnished. Our two children particularly loved the large swimming pool, enjoyed playing tennis and making use of the mountain bikes too. The villa has wonderful view over the river Lot Valley and the Chateau de Cenevieres, which we would also really recommend for a visit. At night, the skies are so dark and it makes it an amazing place for stargazing! The nearest town to the villa is Cajarc, which is a pretty little market town, boasting some lovely shops and restaurants. Overall, we had a lovely week at Sul Pech and having hired several villas in the south of France before, Sul Pech was definitely the best we’ve been to yet- it’s well worth a visit!

This is a fantastic house and garden. We were a family group of 6 adults and 4 children and we all had a fantastic time at Sul Pech. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need. We loved the garden and the views of the Lot Valley from the terraces. The swimming pool was probably the nicest of any of the many holiday house that we have stayed in. Being able to play tennis, table tennis and ride bikes was also great. The dark skies were a bonus, including seeing Elon Musk's Starlink satellites. The Lot Valley is a beautiful area of France and the family enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding on the Lot and canoeing down the Cele, as well as visiting Calvignac, Pech Merle and the surrounding towns. Ian and Caroline and Chloe, the House Manager have all been extremely kind and helpful since we first booked Sul Pech. Thank you, we hope to return soon.

Just back from a relaxing week with all the family. House, pool, table tennis, bikes and tennis court all great. Ian and Caroline are great new owners with all home comforts thought of - large beds, cotton sheets, thick white bath towels and pool towels. As well as all the crockery and kitchen utensils you could need !!

Dear Ian and Caroline, what a wonderful week in your lovely house.  I can honestly say that it is the best equipped holiday rental we have had in over 40 years of renting in France. You really have thought of everything - super linen, fluffy towels, plenty of (matching!!) crockery and glasses, sharp kitchen knives and everything you could need to make catering for the family a pleasure. Two kitchens - and a choice of terraces for eating.  Enough loungers for everyone and attractive and comfortable seating indoors.  Add to this the amazing location and incredible views from the house, and  the charm of Calvignac itself - we had to encourage the family to drag themselves away from tennis, ping-pong and the pool to see a little of the wonderful countryside - mostly from the river as the nearby canoeing was immensely popular. We had very hot weather (but you provide fans) and clear night skies to take advantage of stunning night time stargazing.  I’m running out of superlatives….so thank you again for sharing your amazing holiday home.
